Trading Config
Trading settings control how Quantly connects to your brokerage and executes your strategies.
Connected Accounts
Section titled “Connected Accounts”In Settings → Trading → Connected Accounts:
- Connect your Paper Account via OAuth
- View connection status (Connected or Not Connected)
- Reconnect if your authorization expires or fails
To connect, click Connect next to Paper Account. You are redirected to your brokerage to sign in and approve access. No API keys to copy or paste.

Paper account
Section titled “Paper account”Quantly Paper uses your paper trading account connected through OAuth:
- Simulated fills and balances
- No real money at risk
- Same execution flow as live will use when live connection is available
Live trading
Section titled “Live trading”Live Trading in Connected Accounts is marked Coming Soon. When available, Quantly Pro subscribers will connect a live brokerage account through the same OAuth flow.
Trade configuration
Section titled “Trade configuration”In the Trade Configuration section on the same tab:

| Default Trade Time | Default execution time for new strategies (each strategy can override) |
| Data Source | Use Close or Open prices for execution and backtests |
Click Save Changes after editing.
