Event types
Section titled “Event types”Typical email events include:
| Event | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strategy error | Execution or validation failures that need attention |
| Strategy warning | A strategy traded, but some tickers had no live price yet, so they were priced at their most recent close |
| Daily summary | End-of-day portfolio snapshot |
Strategy warnings
Section titled “Strategy warnings”Thinly traded tickers can go a while without a trade, so there is no new live price to use at your strategy’s trade time. Instead of skipping the rebalance, Quantly prices those tickers at their most recent close and sends a Strategy warning.
The email links each affected strategy and the asset page for each ticker. If you want steadier pricing, use the asset page to compare the ticker’s trading volume with closely correlated tickers. Past correlation does not guarantee future behavior, so review carefully before changing a strategy.
A warning can occasionally come from a delayed market data system rather than a quiet ticker. If you think a warning is a mistake, reply to the email or contact [email protected].
Per-account preferences
Section titled “Per-account preferences”If you connect multiple broker accounts (paper and live), toggle each event per account so paper noise does not flood live alerts.
History
Section titled “History”The tab lists recent notification deliveries and status so you can confirm emails were sent.
